After its releasing, the gel went through a lot of updating and modernizations. Acrylics were a leader in the three dimension decorating, but now we can do it with gels too!

The Color gels

Surface decoration with 3D gels

A big benefit of the 3D gel decoration is it doesn’t require a powder-liquid ratio.
Only hardens to UV light, while acrylics harden continuously to a room temperature.
It could be a disadvantage for beginners, because it needs to be shaped fast before the total hardening.

A big advantage: easy to correct!

We can easily correct the gel patterns before applying the UV lamp.
Nail technicians who don’t work with acrylics, because of an allergy or the smell of the liquid can make hot, spectacular and unique decorations with this technique.

Ideal spatial effect

The high-density 3D gels ensure an ideal spatial effect.
Planning is very important, because we work backwards when using this technique.
First we shape up the edges, then we move inward with a typical move.

Different patterns, different brushes

We use natural hair brushes for flowers, petals, and non figurative patterns, designed specifically for this technique the oval, beveled, natural haired flat 3D gel brush.
This unique shape helps you to create beautiful flowers and petals.
For shaping up tendrils, use a syntethic prolate decorating brush.
For perfection, use a nail art dotting tool and needle.


Thicker consistency

An even thicker type of gel were developed as an innovation of 3D gels.
Perfectly replaces the acrylics, you can shape up a more empathic decoration.
Conduct the way of the gel just as it was acrylic with flat, stroking moves.

Dip the brush into cleanser before we start working, so the gel won’t stick to the hair.
It’s recommended to cure each layer with a UV lamp for the best results.

This new 3D gel is perfect to make patterns even more lively.
Hardening time is around 2-3 minutes depending on the brand.
