How to clean your tools

Boil-wash your textiles
Clean your table and working area with disinfector after every client. Just a sneeze or a single fungal spore can be enough to get infected. All the textiles used for manicures and pedicures need to be washed properly. Most of the bacteria will disappear after 10-15 minutes on 140°F but you have to be more drastic to get rid of all funguses. Boil water with some washing soda in a big pot, and put your white textiles in it for 90 minutes.

Cleaning the metal tools
Start with washing them under running water and remove all visible dirt. Then put them in disinfectant liquid (follow the instructions on the bottle). After taking them out, dry them in a vertical position. Don’t forget to clean the drill bits the same way!

When the client arrives
Always use sanitizers (spray prep or other) first on your hand and then on your clients’ hands before you start. Take off your rings when you work, because you won’t be able to clean your fingers properly if you wear them.

If you follow these guidelines your working environment will always be clean and hygienic. And it doesn’t go unnoticed by clients either!
